From fire in California to storm surges in Manhattan (water) to melting ice caps and glaciers to the hideous dangers from fracking (earthquakes in Ohio?!) it feels as though the classic elements themselves are conspiring against us.
It feels a bit of a poetic, Gothic sort of comeuppance for our carbon emissions sins. And very fitting.
